November is Women Abuse Prevention Month
Wrapped In Courage Campaign

The campaign engages local communities throughout November with the support of gender-based violence services to build awareness, connect survivors to services and to call on decision makers about the social change that is desperately needed.

Every year throughout the month of November we call on all Ontarians to take action to show their support for survivors of gender-based violence by wearing a purple scarf and attending a Wrapped in Courage flag raising and proclamation event in your community. Take action towards violence prevention today, because #everypurplescarf builds a community that cares. Ontario Women's Coalition at Queens Park
Our Executive Director, Clarissa Arthur, joined the Ontario Women’s Coalition at Queen’s Park, calling for greater investments in affordable housing and supports for women. Clarissa spoke about how safe, stable, and affordable housing is essential for survivors to rebuild their lives. Without it, too many women are forced to choose between homelessness and returning to unsafe situations. To watch the full video, please visit here
