Ottawa Chito-Kai Karate Club: This club holds
an event called "Karate for Community" and for
the past 3 years has contributed to Nelson House
through this event!

Social Planning Council of Ottawa - Carleton:
An organization which is building a stronger community
by applying research and long-term planning to
pressing social problems, such as familial and
child abuse.
Ottawa United Way: The United Way are great
supporters of Nelson House, go to their website

granted us funding for a part time volunteer co-ordinator,

A very important resource and supporter of Nelson
House, they funded our Transition Worker position.

of Interval and Transition Houses), plus learn
